No other candidate who is currently running for mayor or who plans to run for mayor can take credit for more of the miraculous turnaround that’s gone on in the last seven-and-a-half years here in the city of Wheeling than Vice Mayor Chad Thalman, period. The past two city councils have put Wheeling on a trajectory that people across the state are really noticing. I hear this from mayors all over the place, ‘you guys are killing it in Wheeling.’ Chad’s been a big piece of that – don’t let anybody suggest that he hasn’t been. His fingerprints are on every project we’ve done. And he is, without a doubt, the best person to finish the job we started and lead Wheeling into a bold, new future.

GLENN ELLIOTT, Mayor of Wheeling

As a long time real estate investor and small business owner in Wheeling, I’ve seen firsthand the amazing redevelopment our downtown area has undergone since 2016. The level of private and public investment that has occurred since Chad Thalman became vice mayor has not been seen in many generations. And Chad has been a key player in helping to make the transformation happen. There has been much progress in Wheeling, but there is still more to be done. I look forward with great hope and excitement to the continued growth and improvement, not only with the streetscape, but with a multitude of other projects currently being planned. And I believe Chad is the right person to lead us across the finish line.
